Daniel Raiskin excited audience and reviewers in his concerts recently -  the Winnipeg Free Press wrote that "It also marked the WSO debut of charismatic guest conductor Daniel Raiskin whose rapport with the orchestra members — clearly smitten — became immediately palpable...." (concerts 13th / 14th February, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra). The concerts with the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra (March 20 to 22) and Alexei Volodin had great success as well, as you can read here.

With the Rheinische Philharmonie and Armenian pianist Marianna Shirinyan in concerts featuring works by Sibelius, Grieg and Nielsen, after which the Rhein-Zeitung wrote "... under Raiskins baton everything fit like magic". And last but not least, the concert with the Stuttgart Philharmonic and pianist Olga was praised because Daniel Raiskin proved in the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto as "ideal partner ... (..) and he led the Philharmonic with Verve following not only to cracking increases, but also proved a fine feeling for relationships and for the distinct chamber musical passages.
